Low abortion rate in Uruguay

July. 16 (UPI) - The secretary of the MSP, Leonel Briozzo, official data showed voluntary interruptions of pregnancy in the first six months implemented the law regulating the practice.Between December 2012 and May 2013 there were 2,550 legal abortions, approximately 426 per month. Uruguay is one of the countries with the lowest abortion rate in the world.
